1. Who we are
This site is operated by Barlavento Estratégia Financeira ("Barlavento", "we"), the controller of personal data processed through it under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Law no. 13,709/2018 — LGPD). For any privacy matter, contact us at atendimento@barlaventoestrategia.com.
2. What data we collect
Data you send us. When you fill in the contact form, we collect your name, e-mail, phone number and the message you write. We use this data solely to reply to your enquiry and follow up on the conversation you started (legal basis: preliminary steps to a contract, at your request — art. 7, V, LGPD).
Browsing data (with your consent). If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 collects statistical browsing data — pages visited, traffic source, device type and approximate location — to help us understand how the site is used and improve it (legal basis: consent — art. 7, I, LGPD). Without your acceptance, no analytics cookie is set.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
We use two categories:

You can change your choice at any time via the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of any page. If you decline or withdraw consent, existing analytics cookies are removed and no new ones are set.
4. Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with providers that operate the site on our behalf:
- Google (Firebase Hosting and Google Analytics 4) — site hosting and usage statistics, the latter only with your consent;
- Web3Forms — forwarding of contact-form messages to our e-mail;
- Behold — display of our Instagram feed on the home page (sets no cookies).
Some of these providers process data outside Brazil. In those cases, the international transfer takes place with the safeguards set out in arts. 33 et seq. of the LGPD.
5. How long we keep it
Contact-form messages stay in our mailbox for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and meet any legal obligations. Google Analytics statistical data is retained for up to 14 months in aggregate form.
6. Your rights
Under art. 18 of the LGPD, you may at any time request: confirmation that we process your data; access to it; correction of incomplete or outdated data; anonymisation, blocking or deletion; portability; information about sharing; and withdrawal of consent. Just write to atendimento@barlaventoestrategia.com — we reply within 15 days.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the site or the law. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page. Material changes to how we use cookies will prompt a new consent request.
